Learning From Earlier Mistakes

The game comes off the release of the sci-fi the previous game, published four years ago to a negative feedback it had difficulty to overcome.

"We most likely would not be able to create and produce the latest entry lacking the lessons we acquired in Battlefield 2042," Rebecka shares with our team.

Among those lessons was to get the community engaged from the start, and the team launched closed fan playtests earlier this year.

Their "response was incredibly encouraging," says she.

One more omitted ingredient from Battlefield 2042 was a solo experience, which has been reintroduced for this release.

Criterion project head Fasahat "Fas" Salim is the person responsible for "making sure those levels are as entertaining and compelling as possible for the audience."

In spite of allegations that the scale of the game had challenged the different teams collaborating internationally to build the game, Fas is upbeat about the endeavor.

"Collaborating with varied perspectives, different backgrounds, it's a truly interesting setting to be involved in on a regular basis," he explains.

"This whole method has been an innovation but also truly thrilling because we are collaborating with individuals from internationally."

Concerning the anticipation on the developers, Fas says: "We feel demand but at the same time it's thrilling.

"This is a big venture. It's probably the largest that most of us have previously been involved in."

New Talent Contributes New View
